After only a few days in the Washington, D.C. area, I have safely landed in Sao Paulo for the
FIFA World Cup.
My to-do list for day one:
- Meet up with my friend from New York who landed one hour after me - check
- Pick up game tickets at the airport - check
- Make our way to my friend's house who lives in Sao Paulo - check
- Get something to eat and check out the neighborhood - check
- Go into the city and see things - check
Here are some pictures I took while completing my to-do list:

Brazilian flags are being flown in many places. |

Including restaurants. |

A hardy, Portuguese-style meal. |

The actual city center marked by this thingy. |

A Croatian flag with the name of a city in Bosnia and Herzegovina. Stirring things up a bit I guess. Now is not the time for this boys. |
